HIGH SECTION BLOCK

First begin with your blocking hand at your opposite hip.

Crossing your arms across your body, bring your blocking hand up and slightly forward,
twisting your wrist at the final moment.

The Opposite hand pulls back to hip.

This is to block against a downward strike
LOW SECTION
BLOCK

First begin with your blocking hand raised to your opposite ear.

Swing your arm directly across body and stop just above your knee, twisting your wrist at the
final moment.

The Opposite hand pulls back to hip.

This is to block against a kick
PALM HEEL BLOCK

First begin with your blocking hand at your hip.

Move your arm directly across your body and stop at the centre of your chest, blocking
with your lower palm area.

The Opposite hand pulls back to your hip.

This is to block against a close range strike
INNER MIDDLE SECTION BLOCK

First begin with your blocking hand raised to your ear.

Swing your arm directly across your body and stop at the centre of your chest,
twisting your wrist at the final moment.

This is to block against a straight punch
OUTER MIDDLE SECTION BLOCK

First begin with blocking hand raised to your opposite ear.

Swing your arm directly across your body and stop at your opposite shoulder,
twisting your wrist at the final moment.

The Opposite hand pulls back to hip.

This is to block against a circular punch
X- BLOCK

First begin with blocking hands on your hips.

Move your arms directly across body above your head in a cutting action to make the X-shape blocking
with outside hard parts of your wrist.

This block can be performed for high section or low section.

This is to block against a downward strike high section or a kick to low section
DOUBLE KNIFE HAND BLOCK

This block is an augmented double block.

First begin with your blocking hands stretched out behind your body.

Move your arms directly forwards across your body.

Your blocking hand stops by the outside of your shoulder blocking with the outside part of your
forearm and your supporting hand by your chest.

This is to block against a straight or circular punch
